What is Iridology?
Iridology is the science and practice of analyzing the iris of the eye in order to determine the presence of tissue inflammation in the body, where it is located and what stage it has reached. The iris reveals the level of constitutional strength, inherent weakness, state of health and the transactions that take place in a person's organs and tissues according to the way he or she lives.
Mapping the Iris
Over the past century and more, iridologists have painstakingly mapped the iris by carefully correlating known health problems in certain parts of the body with observed structural landmarks and changes in the iris. The stomach, they found, is always represented by a circular ring surrounding the pupil, while the bowel is represented by the remaining portion of the iris between the stomach area and the autonomic nerve wreath. The brain is reflected and represented by the upper portion of the iris, while the leg and foot are located at the bottom of the iris.
Safe and Painless
Iris analysis offers information that is simply unavailable through conventional laboratory tests and interpretation of a patient's aches, pains and other symptoms, since these seldom reveal where the source of the problem is in the body or which organs are affected. Iridology does this effectively and reliably without requiring tissue biopsies, exploratory surgery, injections of dyes or chemicals to make some organ appear distinct on x-rays or other dangerous, painful and expensive diagnostic aids. Iridology is safe, painless and noninvasive.
Not a Diagnosis
Iridology does not diagnose disease, but reveals abnormal tissue conditions, inflammation, toxic-laden organs and tissues, all of which are precursors of any disease. The greatest advantage to iridology is its ability to identify the presence of early tissue pathology in the preclinical stage.
Doctors Using Iridology
There are over 4,000 doctors in Germany using iridology today. It is also widely used in France, England, China, Australia, Latin America and South Africa.
Iridology for Everyone
Every person can benefit from iridology. If no symptoms are present it would be used to make sure it stays that way. If symptoms are present, all the more reason to obtain an inexpensive and accurate opinion as soon as possible and hopefully avoid a more serious problem.
Iridology consultations are a half hour and by appointment only.
